Firetalk For Gillen

Flaming hand - My friend Harper is a flame juggler, he showed me how to use rubbing alcohol on my hands to set them on fire. Actually, he put the alcohol on *his* hand, set it on fire and *rubbed* the fire onto my palm! It *is* hot, but not burning hot. When it gets too hot, I just close my hand and the fire goes out. It is hard to know exactly how much alcohol to use -- too much is a drippy, firey mess & too little and it won't burn right. With practice, it gets easier.
Here is a video from YouTube explaining how to make home-made Fire Balls -- just in time to entertain your family for July 4th!
Be sure to listen to the warnings about where the fire is hottest, so you don't accidentally burn anything/anyone (especially you!). And mom says to be sure an adult knows what you're doing - so they can tell you the safest place to play with your fire & be ready with the hose in case of accidents!

Hi Hayden. I am Gillen's mom and will get him to read this. He will love it! I will be standing by with a hose. We were wondering what to do on the fourth of July this year. Thanks for the idea.
